adjust continuous form
Ludwig Willems

2 years ago
Hi, I notice that I can not influence the records on a continuous form separately per record with VBA. Every time I do this, all records are adjusted in the form. Conditional formatting also seems to be a problem. Does anyone have a solution for this?

How are you manipulating them?

Private Sub LeegVeldTransparant_AfterUpdate() ' lege velden toevoegen om aan 13 records te komen
    ' Controleer de waarde van de checkbox
    If Me.LeegVeldTransparant = True Then
        ' Zet de tekst in kastbeschrijving naar "Opvulling"
        Me.kastbeschrijving = "Opvulling"
    End If

    ' Alleen het huidige record verversen
    Me.Repaint ' Zorg ervoor dat de wijziging zichtbaar is zonder dat alle records vernieuwd worden
End Sub

Private Sub LeegVeldTransparant_Click()
    ' Pas de kleur van de knop aan op basis van de waarde van de checkbox
    If Me.LeegVeldTransparant = True Then
    Me.KleurLeegVeldTransparant.BackColor = RGB(247, 181, 128) ' Oranje labelkleur (#F7B580)
    Me.KleurLeegVeldTransparant.BorderColor = RGB(247, 181, 128) ' Oranje randkleur van het label (#F7B580)
    Else
    Me.KleurLeegVeldTransparant.BackColor = RGB(205, 220, 175) ' Licht groene labelkleur
    Me.KleurLeegVeldTransparant.BorderColor = RGB(205, 220, 175) ' Licht groene randkleur van het label
    End If
End Sub

You need to either loop a recordset
Or
GoToRecord (repeat)

What's your purpose or outcome?

is to set text white if checkbox is true to add empty fields later on the report for filling. Also to indicate on the form that that specific record is intended for filling and then gets the color green. A continuous form cannot be edited individually, if I do something with it, this happens to all records of the form.

ChatGPT says it's a good tip, the human brain is still a bit smarter. He's updating the code. Will test it, thanks.
