Pr Management Template Error
Dom Mercer

I'm pleased to share that I have successfully completed the transaction for the Project Management, Gantt Chart, and Scheduling reader. The insights on the tools available for developing Forecasting within a database have been incredibly helpful and inspiring, for which I'm sincerely grateful.

However, I would appreciate your assistance with two matters. First, we've encountered an issue with the calculation displayed in the lower section of the bar, which tracks daily activity data (It seems the original template is not working.). Second, the TaskPlanner Form is not opening correctly and is showing multiple errors, which may be linked to a conflict during the integration of SQL tables.

Issue1: instead of values 1,2,3 calculating the days or entries on the bottom is showing 0.
Your expertise on these points would be greatly appreciated.
Issue2:

   This code is unfortunately unreadable for our database for some reason. We tried all possible methods like using other code integrated with SQL, creating temp queries, etc. Please see examples below:

Original SQL view (unfortunately we are now working with our database which has tables stored in SQL Server but queries etc in Access):

SELECT TaskT.* (our: tblEngineerTeamTaskT.*)

FROM TaskT  (our: tblEngineerTeamTaskT)

WHERE (((ShowTask(Nz([StartDate],0),Nz([EndDate],0),Nz([Forms]![TaskPlannerF]![TargetDate])))<>0) AND ((TaskT.ProjectID)=[Forms]![ProjectListF]![ProjectID]));

      Attempt no. 1:

SELECT tblEngineerTeamTaskT.*

FROM tblEngineerTeamTaskT

WHERE ShowTask(Nz([StartDate], 0), Nz([EndDate], 0), Nz([Forms]![TaskPlannerF]![TargetDate], 0)) <> 0

AND tblEngineerTeamTaskT.ProjectID = Nz([Forms]![ProjectListF]![ProjectID], 0);

[...] after this is showing: Run-error '3071' this expression is typed incorrectly, or it is too complex to be evaluated. For example, a numeric expression may contain too many complicated elements. Try simplifying the expression by assigning parts of the expression to variables.

      Attempt no. 2:

Module Usage:

Public Function GetTaskStatus(StartDate As Variant, EndDate As Variant, TargetDate As Variant) As Long

    GetTaskStatus = ShowTask(Nz(StartDate, 0), Nz(EndDate, 0), Nz(TargetDate, 0))

End Function

     Attempt no. 3:

Create a query that calculates the ShowTask result:

SELECT tblEngineerTeamTaskT.*,

       ShowTask(Nz([StartDate], 0), Nz([EndDate], 0), Nz([Forms]![TaskPlannerF]![TargetDate], 0)) AS TaskStatus

FROM tblEngineerTeamTaskT;

Create another query that selects from qryTaskStatus:

SELECT *

FROM qryTaskStatus

WHERE TaskStatus <> 0

AND ProjectID = Nz([Forms]![ProjectListF]![ProjectID], 0);

    None of them unfortunately gave the expected result.

I kindly request your assistance with this issue, as I may have lost our way and it's possible that I am making mistakes due to insufficient knowledge or patience. If possible, I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide the correct code.

Thank you in advance for your support.

P.S. This is the control source for first issue: =Nz(DCount("TaskID","tblEngineerTeamTaskT","ProjectID=" & [ProjectID] & " AND StartDate<=#" & [TargetDate] & "# AND EndDate>=#" & [TargetDate] & "#"),0), [...] and accordingly, the next box has been updated with +1, +2, etc.
