Access crashing

I could open an Access file, but when I tried to open a form, Access closed right away. I am unable to understand the reason why. I had to save my Access file under another name and it seems to work properly again.
What do you recommend? Continue with this file or use an older version? For me not a big deal as I make daily back ups.

There is the troubleshooting video that you can check. Have you recently updated Access and the issue started after that? If yes, you may want to roll back to a earlier update. Compact/Repair can help. If it's only one form - it could be a part or the whole form becoming corrupted.... the list sadly goes on.

Thanks for your fast replies: Indeed, I should have checked the Troubleshooter before posting this post. Hopefully I will find something in the list that sadly goes on :-)
