Recreate Record Counter
Gerard

Normally on the bottom of the form one has the four buttons and a record counter; go to last and first, go to previous and next and the number of records in between.
In the property sheet one can choose for visable yes or no. Then I choose for no. I want these navigation buttons as they are referred to in the property sheet to set on "no" and recreate these buttons + counter on the form header. I read somewhere that one could do so by creating an unbound text box and a code in the event "current". But I am not succeeding in doing so. Did you treat this subject in one of your lessons?
I hope I made myself clear.
Thanks,
Gerard

My Reply:

Recreating the command buttons is easy... there's a wizard for that.

As far as the record COUNTER box, I've never done that before... but you could probably do it with a DCOUNT statement in an unbound text box. Something like:

=DCOUNT("*","MyTable","ID<" & CurrentID)

This should give you an accurate count of the number of records before the current record, assuming your form is sorted by ID.
