Convert Positive to Negative using AfterUpdate

I feel like I should know this, but I've had a very taxing morning. I need the AmountPaid on my BillPayF to be negative, because it's tied to TransactionT. I thought I could just put a label beside the field and make it a training issue, but I found myself forgetting, even with the visual reminder. Is there a way (pref VBA), to convert a positive entry in that field to negative?

Multiply by -1

Well I'm 28 hours late. But I recently did this because I created a double entry system and my company statements (Money I'd owe a supplier) was always negative. Multiply the field by -1.

You can just put a minus sign before the value or field. In a field's control source: =-[Field1] In VBA: Field1 = -Field1 x = -Forms!Form1!Field1 x = -y
