On your Form, you could do it with VBA,

You could create two buttons and add each of the following Subs into each button's Click event.

Sub SelectAll()

    Dim ctl As Control
    For Each ctl In Me.Controls
        If ctl.ControlType = acCheckBox Then
            If ctl.Value <> True Then
                ctl.Value = True
            End If
        End If
    Next ctl

End Sub

Sub DeselectAll()

    Dim ctl As Control
    For Each ctl In Me.Controls
        If ctl.ControlType = acCheckBox Then
            If ctl.Value <> False Then
                ctl.Value = False
            End If
        End If
    Next ctl

End Sub

Reply from Richard Rost:

Thanks, Alex. Yes, this will work perfectly if you have multiple checkboxes on the same form (each as its own field). I was assuming msmith was dealing with a subform with multiple checkboxes on it - each the SAME field. In that case, I'd use SQL or an update query.
