I want the key1 first one to print in the Key1 field

And Key2 to print in the Key2 field above on the left.  How do I do that?

I also need to make CustID a random number.  I have two tables that share these fields.  I how do I get them to appear in both?
Do I need to split the database.  If you can give me topics to research.  I need to learn it the hard way.  "School of Hard knocks"

Me!Key1 = Key1
Me!Key2 = Key2

Use the Me keyword if your variable name is the same as your field name (not recommended) so that Access knows you are referring to the field on the Form and not the variable.

Put data on a Form from any Table
DLookup

CustID
Random
Customer Codes
Sequential Numbers

I now know stick with the video forums.  Yes, Alex I understand how the Registration code is generated and how it interacts with the Form you are using it with?  This will be my last post here.  I will switch to the registration seminar.  From now on.

Thank you Alex.

Alex Can you give an example what command or what video to watch on how to get key1 to end of in keycodein field and key2 into RegistrationCodeReturn.  If you answer that question.  that will make my day!!!!!  I will do the research.

This question deals with the registration seminar.      Jeff

I'd already moved the original thread over and combined your above comments with it.

So the Form you've shown above in your screenshot has Key1 and Key2 Textboxes, what is stopping you from amending the code you copied from the Seminar to instead of MsgBox the value just populating those Fields instead?
