Half of New Access Seminar Available
By Richard Rost   Richard Rost on LinkedIn Email Richard Rost   16 years ago

I've posted the first 22 lessons of my Access Work Order Seminar to the Online Theater. It's currently over 4 hours long, but one of my customers is really anxious to get started on it, so I've decided to post the first half NOW, and the rest when it's finished.

This seminar will teach you how to track WORK ORDERS for a service business, and generate job costing. It allows for customers with multiple locations (offices, units, etc.), work orders with multiple categories, tracking of labor and materials, invoicing, scheduling of workers, plus many different reports such as a profit & loss statement.

I have covered some of this material in my previous classes, but there is a lot of new material, plus a lot of new WAYS to use some previously seen topics. You should be at least an Intermediate-level Access student before watching this course. It would help you to know a little VBA and some SQL, but don't panic if not - I will show you everything you need.

I don't have a nice, full index with screen shots available yet. I usually make that when I'm done with the full course. I will post the outline of the lessons completed so far below. However, you can watch an introductory video here which will show you everything that this seminar covers. Plus, you can watch the first lesson of the seminar which talks about the structure and design of the database.

To get your copy of this seminar, you can ORDER HERE.

If you have any questions, email me or post them here.
