There are two editions of the Access Runtime currently available.

If you want to install Access online using the same type of installer that Microsoft 365 uses, then select the Microsoft 365 Access Runtime. This will install Access over the Internet. You will also get all of the most up-to-date fixes and additions as they're added to Microsoft 365.

If you want a standalone installation that doesn't require the user to be connected to the Internet, then you can download the MSI version: Access 2016 Runtime.
