Access Day: March 27, 2026 - Meet Team & MVPs
If you're an Access developer, power user, or just someone who proudly says, "Yeah, I build Access databases for a living," I've got something you'll want to put on your calendar.
Access Day 2026 is happening Friday, March 27th in the Redmond, Washington area. They're still finalizing the exact venue, but if you're anywhere in the Pacific Northwest, or just want an excuse to visit Microsoft's backyard, this is a great one.
I went last year and had a fantastic time. Great presentations, lots of hallway conversations, and even members of the Microsoft Access team showed up to talk about what they're working on behind the scenes. Always cool hearing it straight from the source.
I'm not presenting, just attending like everyone else. Hanging out, learning, and talking nerdy Access stuff. But they've got a strong lineup.
Sessions include starting and growing a consulting business, taking over and maintaining existing Access applications, working with Azure SQL for secure remote access, solving the "New Outlook" problem with Graph API authentication and MFA, and using AI as an Access development assistant to export objects, analyze code, and identify performance and security issues.
Members of the Microsoft Access Team (the guys who actually work on Access itself) will also be there sharing product updates and demos of what's coming next.
They're planning an optional dinner afterward too, so if you want to keep the conversation going, you'll have the chance.
Registration is open now. I'll put the link below with all the details. If you can make the trip, I definitely recommend it. Great way to meet other developers, learn new tricks, and spend a day surrounded by people who love Access as much as we do.
Hope to see you there. Live long and prosper my friends.
