Selecting Issue
Gary Orros

Hi Everyone

I have this little niggly issue, which isn't the end of the world not to have working as it is but I have put so many hours into my database I really want it to be 100% and trying to fix it is driving me mad. So hopefully one of you clever people will know or can point me in the right direction.

I have a customer form with the customer details on it, and all the cylinders they have (which is basically a lock).  The customer's cylinders are displayed on a subform (linked via a cylinder ID). The lock subform also runs a second subform which is called the KeyHistory (this is a record of all the keys they have had).

All this works fine, but my issue is when I a search using a search form based on the cylinders it loads the customer details and the record selector on the cylinder subform goes to the first record and not necessarily the selected cylinder record from the search form.
hat I would like it to do is just

Hi Juan

Sorry to sound thick, but I’m not sure exactly what you mean. I’m not that good at data bases, just built my own one I’m trying to use.

I also don’t think the video attached either

Thanks
