The NeighborID on main form is parent and child NeighborID is on Subform .  NeighborID is text
SigninID is Autonumber.

There are a few ways you can do it. You can change the Filter. You can change the whole RecordSource (which is my preferred method). Here's what I would do:

Make a double-click event for a field in the subform, like the NeighborID, and then say:

Parent.RecordSource = "SELECT * FROM TableName WHERE NeighborID=" & NeighborID

That's it. That will requery the parent form and show just that Neighbor. Set the table name accordingly.

Don't use Form click events. Stick to fields. That's why I like to make a specific field blue - shows that you can click on it and something will happen, like my Customer List Form.

I cover some similar stuff in the Self Join video. Someone also asked me a while back to do a video similar to this with neighbors. I'll bump it up the list for ya. :)
