Select Distinctrow

Hi Richard, I just wanted to let you know that I'm having no regrets about becoming a gold level member a year or so ago. The knowledge I gain from watching your tech help series has almost completely pushed out all of the garbage I learned in the past. Except for one trick I have been using from the Dummies series book for Access Programming. It uses SELECT DISTINCT statements in combo boxes to search on a form. I am not as clear as to how to use the DISTINCTROW statement to best effect. I know you are very busy trying to keep up with tribble inventories and phaser banquets for space invaders from the future but this one may already be on your list. It looks like Lars may have asked about this last year (https://599cd.com/blog/display-comment.asp?CommentID=90006) No great rush - but RUSH is pretty great. Keep up the good work and greatly informative vids, see you in the funny papers. Justin

DISTINCTROW
    Used when dealing with tables with relationships.
    It eliminates duplicate entire records based on the primary key.
    It applies to entire rows, not just selected fields.

Examble
    SELECT DISTINCTROW CustomerT.FirstName, CustomerT.LastName
    FROM CustomerT INNER JOIN OrderT ON CustomerT.CustomerID = OrderT.CustomerID;

This will show each customer who has placed an order only once, even if they have placed multiple orders.
