I Tried to Watch the Video

I tried to watch todays video but was told Access Denied.  This day bytes for me.  Dental appointment to have a tooth extracted is bad enough.  My doctor is out of town for two weeks, some medical convention. Cable company didn't do a 2 or 4 hour window, more like 2 to 4 years thing. I can't have coffee today (no that is not a April Fools joke).  Finally I did see the video... I want my 3 minutes and 1 second back... :D

Sorry. That time is gone. Wasted. No refunds. :)

I feel you with having to have a tooth extracted. I had to have one taken out a couple of months ago so I can have an implant put in. And of course, I have to wait a few more months because they had to put a bone graft in because the tooth was previously root-canaled. So now I got to go back and get it X-rayed to see if the bone graft took before they can stick the implant in. So yeah, dental work's a lot of fun.

And don't get me started with the cable guys, or pretty much any service for that matter with the two to four hour windows. I don't mind so much because I work from home and I have for years. But how do people with real jobs deal with an appointment that's Thursday at 10am and it could be anywhere from 10am to 2pm? What do you do with work?

In my case it ws root resorption caused "LikelY" by 7 year old me crashing face first into a metal pole.  3 teeth bought the farm 47 - 53 years later.  One of the implants had to be pulled out and reseated.  So now I'm one tooth less and in boat load of pain.

Ouch. For me, I was eating prunes (they were supposed to be seedless/pitless), and most of them were until I bit into one that wasn't. Then a molar that had previously been filled (because I had a cavity in it) cracked in half. This was during the period of time when I was moving from Buffalo to Florida. So I waited longer than I should have to get it fixed. The dentist told me I'd have to have it root-canaled. No problem. They were able to save half the tooth and put a root canal in and then crowned it. That lasted for about 5 years until the crown fell off, and they're like, "We're better off just pulling the whole thing." So they yanked all that out and had to put a bone graft in there. The oral surgeon was really cool. He said, "Years ago, we'd have to take a piece of bone from like your chin," but now we just buy bone. I'm like, "Great, awesome." So I guess I have someone else's cadaver bone in my tooth socket lol. But yeah, then I got to go back in a month or two for more work. On the one hand, it's a pain in the ass, but on the other hand, I'm thankful for modern medical science.
