Specific Lesson or All of it? Any other videos on the site work?

I dont think you get CC by default, but the videos have sound for me. Did you try the simple troubleshooting stuff like restarting your PC?

Richards Videos on this site don't have closed captioning.  YouTube does.  And if you are using Windows 10 or Windows 11 and maybe earlier you can.

Start Button.  Search box type Live Captions (app).  Run as administrator. You will be prompted to Live Captions.  Yes or no and follow the instructions.  There are videos on YouTube that walk you step by step.  It used to be a seperate feature in Chrome but Chrome is now using the Windows Live Caption Feature (at least the last time I did this.)

Are you sure the sound works on the Lenova on other sites or sound files.  If yes it's the video (likely), or make sure you have the most recent audio drivers.

If it's a specific video that has no sound, let me know. If it's all of the videos, then it's probably your machine. There are hundreds of active users on the website daily, so if there's a problem with ALL of the videos, then I'll know it immediately. Although that seminar is a few years old, so if there were a bad video, I'm sure someone would have said something by now.

Also, did you try all the basics like rebooting your computer? I also use Lenovo Legion laptops myself. Love them. But see if a reboot fixes the issue. I basically use the same technology that YouTube uses to play video. It's simple, browser-based HTML5 video tags. So if you can watch videos on any other site, including YouTube, you should be able to watch mine.

This is not a new but I don't know how to append the original.
no more problem.  Sorry to have raised such an unnecessary and premature ruckus.
before leaving the site, I left a comment, but it disappeared before finishing.  That happened twice. Then I gave up and submitted nothing.
