Part Number Database

Good morning Richard,
I am hoping you are still considering showing how to build a Part Number Database the right way. This should include: CustomerID, CustomerName, Address and so on. Also PartNumber, Description BinLocation, Quantity and so on. I am not sure how to do the joining you had mentioned earlier. I have most of it figures out. The PartT Table has over 20,000 unique part numbers in it, so I am not sure a product type list will work. I know you are and have been busy. Its not really a big deal as it will never really be use by anyone other than me, I just want to know how to do it correctly.
As always, thank you for having such GREAT video's.

fortunately Microsoft in rare form made this pretty clear if you read the text for what is a left and right outer join.  Just read carefully and it'll give you a clue.

you can also just try one and run the query.. if you don't see what you want.. try the other.

Hi David,
Richard covers this in several videoe. He often doesn't call them parts but uses the term Product or Item but the logic is there. Try this video including the Extended cut video https://599cd.com/blog/display-article.asp?ID=1515. I think it will help.  John
