More on Class Modules

I would definitely love to see all of the items you have in your notes. I love this stuff and want to learn as much as I can. Then more on inventory would be cool. Perhaps inventory control within the Class. You're the Captain of this ship - I'll be happy with whatever comes next.

I second what Kevin has said.

For some of our larger customers, being able to put the business logic in a class module and have access to it from multiple forms is very powerful.

Especially if you're building one of those databases for a client that still wants to be able to modify the database themselves.

When I was still consulting, I would often get customers who would take my class and then say, "Hey, this is great, but it's a little too complicated for me. Can you build me something to get started, but then I want to still be able to customize it? Make changes, add reports, that kind of stuff."

If you can lock down all of your business logic in a class module, then they can't just go willy-nilly messing with stuff without using the class. We'll talk about that too as we get through the lessons.

I'm with Kevin and Sami.

What you are describing is the nature of the database I am currently developing.  The client will eventually want to be able to maintain it themselves.

Thanks for the lesson.

Yes, very interesting, can't wait in fully understanding the potential of Class Modules.
