If it is a field, is it on the current Form or in the underlying Record Source?
Is it spelled correctly?

It's a field in the underlying Record Source (Query) and it's spelled correctly.

I added the field to the form and it got past the error. I confused because I'm following along with Richard in Developer 39, Lesson 4 and he did NOT have the field on his form.
Maybe it's just another one of those weird access things.

Probably because you are using a Query. In the video the the Record Source is a Table (DocT).
