Has anyone figured or have some code to do a drag n drop from explorer? I have done a drag n drop works fie if the picture is on the desktop, but if i use documents folder or picture folder I get errors. I have one Richards technique of doing a folder for the files and adding multiple files but I like to have the flexibility of when moving around from directory to directory, and i see something that needs to be added to my ABCD I like to have the option to just drop it in. if you have this and if its ok can you share?

Check ChatGPT it seems doable with some API calls and VBA.

Alex this is what i get for an error. but if i put it on the desk top it works just fine. if you wish i can share the code let me know V/r Juan

Good morning from West Point NY.... So Chat GPT id fix the code and I can now drag n drop from any directory... wait for it.... now I can pick a picture from the desktop but this is acceptable. Thanks Dave.

Not sure I asked chat GPT to look at what i have and what I wanted to do. provided the code and it returned the code with a few line changes. comment was i need to develop a dynamic path to point towards the picture. I can send you the code if you lie it is above my skill level.

Hey Juan, Glad ChatGPT was of some help. Have you looked at the Images or Genealogy Seminars? What are you trying to accomplish with the dynamic path?

I do lots of construction and have tons of pictures. I pick a few drop them in a folder then I have a toprint checkmark when i print the report the picture gets added. the nice thin is lets say i drop in a picture. i can over write that by dropping another in on top of that and the old picture get selected and the new one gets added.
