Sort From Query Not Showing in Continuous Form

I have a query that sorts in this order:
Contractor (Ascending), then Job (Ascending), then Date (Descending). (see screenshot)
The query appears to be sorting correctly (see screenshots below).
Then I have a continuous form but the listing appears not to be sorted. (see screenshot)

Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong?

Please show the form and design view and the property of the data tab.

Also, I see that you have two search combo boxes. How do you perform the search? Are you rewriting the SQL of the form's record source? If so, you need to reintroduce the "order by" at the end of that SQL.

In the Query you are sorting by PolicyBeginDate. In the screenshot of your Form you are showing CreatedDate.

Remove what is in the Order By property. It is probably overriding the sort in the Query.

Sami I am using the query as the record source.

I removed the Descending sort from the query and the Policy date sorts 2023,2025,2024 in the query. The form sorts it 2024,2025,2023. I then put the descending sort back in and it sorts the policy date 2025,2024,2023 in the query. The form has the sort of 2024,2025,2023
