Love the Popup but Mine Needs Tweaking

Instead of Customer, I've got Candidate and have this VB
Private Sub Form_Timer()
    Dim ID As Long
    ID = Nz(DLookup("CandidateID", "tblCandidates", "Followup<=#" & Date & "#"), 0)
    If ID <> 0 Then
        DoCmd.OpenForm "NoticeF"
    End If
End Sub
and it works! Yeay"
However, I'd like the message to open for dates including 2 days ago and the next 2 days.
