As another post 3 years ago, Btn to Get Another Didn't Work by Sveinn Sigurdsson.  Mine does not work either.
At 18:38 , I did not get the Runtime Error as displayed on the screen.  My Code matches exactly as yours does, except I renamed the button as Go.  I have screenshots of your course time stamps and my VB.
Additional Note: 1. I kept the code for the Double Click event that you deleted - which does work as expected -  I just changed it to remarks so I could ensure exact duplication.
Note 2:  The Result when Go is pressed on a blank Relation record is  it Opens a completely New Record with no Person at the top and no Relations displayed.

Can we see the Form in Design View? and the name of the control? Also the Table Field names

Sounds like your Combo Box is not Null. You probably have 0 as the Default Value for those fields in the table. You can either remove the Default Value or check for it in your code. `If IsNull(RelativeCombo) Or RelativeCombo = 0 Then Exit Sub`
