Fitness Db Video 25

Just working through the fitness videos. I have got to Video 25 filtering the foodlog and cannot get the form/code to work.
As soon as the filter is applied all the records are being filtered out. I have checked the code query and form for errors and recreated all 3 from scratch, but can’t find the issue.
Anyone able to take a look at my DB to advise ?

You'll have to tell us what you mean by "cannot get the form/code to work".

Are you getting an error message?  Please post of screenshot of what you're seeing... and post a screenshot of your code.

The only filter that is set in that form as of Fitness 25 is the FoodDateTime so I am thinking it may have something to do with your Regional Settings. You may have to use the Format function around LogDate, or switch to the ISO Date Format. What is your location?

Raymond Hi Raymond. When the filter is applied none of the records appear.

I have data in for the 31/08/2025 which shows without the filter as soon as the filter is applied the records do not show. I do not receive an error messages from the form or code - Paul

Paul Try this:

Me.Filter = "FoodDateTime >= #" & Format(LogDate, "dd/mm/yyyy") & "# AND " & _
                "FoodDateTime < #" & Format(LogDate + 1, "dd/mm/yyyy") & "#"

Kevin Hi Kevin, Thanks - still no joy, with the filter on. I can toggle to see that all the records are there with no filter applied.

The data in the filter property is showing as - FoodDateTime >= #31/08/2025# AND FoodDateTime < #01/09/2025#

Kevin Hi Kevin, After some head scratching and your mention of the ISO Date, I finally got it working. I formatted the relevant fields to yyyy/mm/dd then changed your filter statement to the same format, yyyy/mm/dd.

It now seems to be working fine. Thanks for the heads up

Paul
