Cascading Combo Boxes

Is there a way to use the same query for multiple forms if the data is the same, or do I have to do a query for every form that I use cascading boxes?

If I want to do the city and state cascading boxes on multiple forms.

You can create one query that gets the information you need for your combo boxes and then set that query as the row source for combo/list boxes on multiple forms

But in the Video tutorial, I have to specify the form in the criteria field of the query, so that won't work, unless I do a query for each form and put that form in the criteria.

You don't need to specify each individual Form and certainly don't need a bunch of different Queries that do the same thing.
Use this syntax.
   [Screen].[ActiveForm]![StateCombo]

Later, with VBA, you won't even need the Queries.

Isnt [ActiveForm] only for 1 form? That is where I insert the form name, correct? Or can I just put "ActiveForm" in its place?

I've Built Queries for multiple forms to accomplish this, cascading cities,
1 I am having an issue with everything works as it should. The cities show when I click the dropdown box, they requery when I change states, but when I click on a city, it doesn't select the city, it just dings at me like a Windows error.

But only one 1 form, the others that I have done so far are working fine.

Any Suggestions?
Thanks

I have the cascading combo boxes, it works great as a form, but when I use the form as a subform, is there a way for me to do it in the main form when I use it as a subform?
