Warn for Duplicate or Adding on Combo Box Value
Liem Khen

I have a bedding home industry
some time in the cutting work some items (bedsheets or duvett...or others) provided to several seamsters (sewers) so that the combo box value can get duplicating or still can be added

for example in the cutting work bedsheets =12 and duvett=9 and
in the sewing work provides to some seamsters (sewers) bedsheets=5 and        duvett=9

I want to give  warning that bedsheets can be added and avoiding to add the duvett
also if in the combo box telling that it can be added I want to show a report displaying quantity and who has sewed it.

I hope that you can HELP ME

Selamat siang Liem,
I am having trouble understanding exactly your explanation of what you want to do to produce your report.  In the subject heading I believe you mean "Warning for duplicate value when adding an item to a combo box. (Peringatan untuk nilai duplikat saat menambahkan item ke kotak kombo)".  I think there is a problem with your productt table and the primary key productid. It would help to see a screenshot of your tables, fields & relationships between tables. If you provide an explanation in Behasa Indonesia, I could have my partner (who is Indonesian) explain it to me better. Then I could repost it here for others to help.  Hope this will help!

now I want to tell user whether the product combo box value of the same cutdetailid still can be added or not
for example

bedsheets sewed quantity =5 so it still can be added (according to RICHARDS use ....ARE YOU SURE ?)
duvett sewed quantity =9 ,it can not be added anymore

in that case I have to display firstly a report showing how many bedsheets have been sewed the I can determine YES I WANT TO ADD or no to prevent it

I hope you can get what I mean
THANKS alot WILLIE

Your field names are very difficult to read because they are all lower case. Consider capitalizing the first letter of each word (instead of firstname, use FirstName)

from the SEWF ,we know that duvett has been sewed all but we still have to see wheter the cutdetailid was not sewed by other seamster (the cutting worker may be wrong, the cutdetailid written twice)

as I added new record and filling the cuttingdetailid field, the warning did not come up but
if I closed the form and went back to any field I just filled THERE CAME UP the warning

how come?

I changed the product name to cuttingdetailid (this is the primary key of CUTTINGDETAILT)
