In my DB I have a Table & Form named ExpensesT. It has an autonumber and a foreign key. On the form it has these fields: Expense and Amount. I also have a Combo Box that list the types of expenses i.e. Flight, Airport Parking, Mileage, etc. I use the combo box to fill the Expense Field. My issue is the Amount Field. Most of the expense types are Currency. But the Mileage field is a number. How can I set the format of the Amount field to show currency or a number. Is there some VB I can use to check the Combo box value after it is selected and change the blank amount box to the correct number or Currency. Such as: If Combo value = Mileage, Amount.format = Number Elese Amount.Format = Currency. I know the syntax is hokey, but you get the idea.
