Selling My Database

Hi,
I just developed a small database that some small companies could use, but not sure what things I need to learn so I can sell a copy or a remote desktop access so the clients can use the database for their companies without making a copy of my database, I want to learn more and I do not know how can I do it so I can protect my little creation while making some money from it.

If it is possible I will definitely will buy the membership needed in this site to be able to accomplish this goal.

It'd probably be better to sell your service than your database. Different customers may need the software customized to their unique demands, and they'll ask you questions regularly. So you'll need to have a way to charge them regularly. If you get enough customers, their monthly payments may more than pay for your business. So you may even give them the database for free, which will make your service even more attractive. That was what happened in my old job.
