Object Analyzer Not Displaying Analyzed Size
Howard Chapell

I have been using the Object Analyzer quite regularly without any problems. Today I tried to use it / it works but does not display any detail in the Analysed and Size Columns. Do you know why. I am not doing anything differently.

Have you tried the troubleshooter?

Does the stock version off my website work without modifications?

I have posted recently that My Object Analyzer used to work perfectly but recently it has stopped displaying Date Analyzed and Size. I have re-downloaded the original Object analyzer Database and Selected the Original Inspections Database but the result is exactly the same. Can anyone please assist

Howard I moved your question from the Access Forum to this actual template page and deleted your duplicate posts.

Does it work with a different database file, like a simple template file? There could be something in your inspections database causing the problem.

Also, are you selecting any objects? You've got to select objects for it to analyze. You can click "Select All" to pick all of them.

Sorry Alex not sure what you mean by moving it to the actual template page and deleting duplicates. Thanks for your reply though

Can anyone shed any light on why my Object Size Analyzer does not display Data for the Columns !"Analyzed" and "Size"

Did you select any objects like Rich suggested?

Howard I do want to help you get this figured out, but I need more information from you first. I have asked a few specific troubleshooting questions along the way, like whether the troubleshooter was run, whether the unmodified stock version works, whether you tested against a different simple database, and whether any objects were selected for analysis. Those questions haven't been answered yet.

Without those details, its basically impossible to diagnose what's going on, because each of those answers points in a very different direction. Please go back and reply to those questions directly, even if the answer is just yes or no. Once I have that information, we can move forward and narrow this down properly.

Help me help you!

I posted on this Forum several times last year about Object Analyzer not displaying Date Analyzed and Object Size. Richard sent me a TroubleShooter Check list which I have followed but I still am unable to resolvce thie issue. I have tried different PC's/Laptops etc all fail. Does anyone have any thoughts on resolving this issue please

Did you select an item in the list BEFORE clicking the Analyse Button?

You're welcome.

Remember it is a multi select list box so you can hold down Ctrl / Shift to select multiple items.
