I did a report where I have a field long text how ever the result of the field only shows 255 character I set can grow yes but no matter the field truncate at 255 character what can i do for show all the character in the field?

Did you verify that the can grow property of the section that the field is in has been set to yes as well? Can Grow, Shrink

is wear since is truncated as 252 character appear to take the short text characteristic

are there any other controls beside that control on the same row? Often, Access will disable the can grow if there are multiple controls on the same row. Possibly show a screen shot of your report with the truncated field in view as well as design view with properties open.

I noticed that at the query level I see the truncation but at the table level no.

Is the query an aggregate query? Just looking at possible things and in This post Kevin Yip was able to help resolve a similar issue with an aggregate query...
