Sorry, I don't know how to copy the form to these questions. The form has 4 fields: ContactID CustomerID DateTime Notes As expected when you use the horizontal a record selector at the bottom of the form the form show the next customer and the corresponding ContactID. However, when you use the COMBOBOX to select the customer it shows the customer but the ContactID is not always correct. Why? (I get the same result when I view the Course database) The second question the CustomerID is defined as a key filed as an autonumber, yet it is being populated with a character string. What am I missing?
