A Comparison Between...

There is a "free lite" version for developers, and of course the full Micro$oft Server version. What will a developer see in the full version that might throw them if they have been using the lite? Will you cover the lite version too?

I'm sticking to SQL Server Express for now, which is the free version, because that's more than enough to run most databases that are currently running on Microsoft Access only. If you got a 20-person setup and you're running Microsoft Access on a shared backend, which is pushing the limits of Access, you'll be just fine with the SQL Server Express. If the course becomes popular, then yeah, I'll start covering the enterprise versions too. Good question.

One of the limitations of Express is that they limited the amount of memory you can use and it will only use a limited number of channels in your CPU.

I am currently testing the performance difference between Express and Enterprise on one of my customers' servers and I will report the results here

Sami please do. I'll include them in my course.
