Sending Automatic Email Once Payment is Received

I want to have An email sent once payment is received.  Requesting customer Information. Then an email will be sent inviting them to call to register their software and receive phone support.  Will this seminar allow me to send them the software?

Yes, you can send an email automatically once payment is received, and you can include an attachment (like a ZIP file) to deliver software that way.

However, something has to trigger the email. That depends on how you are receiving the payment (PayPal, Stripe, manual invoice, etc.). In most setups, you either:

- Run an event or loop in Access that checks for new paid orders, then sends the email automatically, or
- Import or update your order records and trigger the email when the payment status changes

This seminar covers how to send automated emails (including attachments). But the exact "payment received" trigger method depends on your payment process and how you are storing the order data.

Please review the course outline and the intro/welcome video, since they clearly explain what is (and is not) covered.

Also, to make sure I answer your question correctly, when you say "send them the software", do you mean sending it as an email attachment (ZIP file), or sending them a download link after payment?

Yes, sending it as an email attachment (ZIP file), or sending them a download link after payment?

eventually i will do the seminar.   How ever,  |I always learn from the school or hard knocks.  I will do it manually for a while.  Once I get some customers.

The easiest solution is to put the ZIP file somewhere on a public-facing folder, like on a website, where you can just send them the link. Yes, the seminar does cover sending file attachments.
