You call this wherever you need it, so if you want to put it in a button, put it in a button. If you want to put it in some kind of an event, put it in an event. It's completely dependent upon what you want to do. This function just keeps you from having to write complex SQL statements or record sets everywhere. You can easily just update a field value with one command.
