Yes, I've covered most of this already in pieces in various classes. Compact/repair is a single macro/VBA command. Backing up the database is too. Creating a timer/event form is something I covered in my Web Sync Seminar. However if enough people are interested (hint: post here) then I could put this together as a stand-alone mini seminar. Note that you should also have an EXTERNAL backup as well. I recommend online services like Crashplan. They back up your files nightly to an off-site location which is critical in case something happens like a fire in your building.
