I have a table called "Table1. In Table1 is a field called "PartNumber" I also have a form to add new records in Table1. So, In the form, When i put in a value (String value) in "PartNumber" field I want to do a Dlookup to see of that part number already exists. What is the proper Dlookup Function to do this?
Here is what I tried:
Dim PartItem as String
PartItem = Dlookup("PartNumber","Field1", PartNumber = " & 'PartNumber'")
This  always returns a null no matter what.
