Flash Player is free so you shouldn't need to pay for it.

Depending on your browser it should also play the videos in the new HTML5 video player so you might want to update, if you can, to the newer versions.

Is this code in the Subform or the Form?

You may need to use:
=Forms!FormName!FieldName
=Forms!ParentForm!SubForm.Form!FieldName
[e.g. =Forms!CustomerF!OrderSubForm.Form.Enabled = TRUE etc]
