I use the Access Updater very extensively.
Recently the Access Updater has presented the following Problem
I don’t know the source of the problem. Me, MSAccess? I don’t Care I need a FIX.
Here is the Problem. When I run a New Update and an user does the Update, then this happens…

    If Username = "Admin" Then
        Me.Section(0).BackColor = vbBlack
        Abort.Visible = True
    Else
        Abort.Visible = False   "ERROR HERE
    End If

    SettingsLoaded = True
    Status "Settings loaded"

End Sub

CANT HIDE A CONTROL THAT HAS THE FOCUS

    Else
        Me.Username.SetFocus  --> fix
        Abort.Visible = False
    End If

CAN YOU EXPLAIN AND PROVIDE ABETTER SOLUTION?

The modified file AccessUpdater.accdb has to be uploaded to the SERVER FOLDER and has to be in the LOCAL USER FOLDER so they do not overwrite each other. I am asking you to see if there is a better solution to this Fix Problem.

Setting the focus to a different control is the correct solution.

Kevin Thank you Kevin. I did fix it but I believe Richard should make a Fix to his program so people dont have to go through this.
