Access for Mac

I know this is wishful thinking but what are the chances Microsoft will put out access for MAC as part of a future office upgrade?

Since my .accdb now crashes on something as simple as a new, somewhat larger monitor, not likely.

I have been working on and off with LibreOffice Base. It is open source, works well on Mac, and is similar in many ways to Microsoft Access. There is definitely a learning curve, especially if you are used to Access, but the transition is fairly manageable.

For anyone who needs a database tool on Mac, LibreOffice Base is worth considering. It may not be a perfect one-for-one replacement for Access, but it can handle many of the same basic database needs and is a practical option for Mac users.

But now is a good time to ask. Years ago, when first restarting again with Access, I ran across a company that would let you put your Access FE and BE on their servers, and then run Access through a remote terminal app on several device platforms (for a fee). I was still getting started with the ADS, but now I'm curious who that company was and if it lived up to the promise? I think they were in England or Europe.
