I created a form that uses a short text field from my table, I now realize I should have used a long text field in my form. I have changed the field in my table but it won't change on my form. Any suggestions?
Joe is right. Changing the field type in the table does not automatically change the properties of an existing text box on a form.
Delete the text box from the form and drag the field back in from the Field List. That will create a new control based on the updated Long Text field.
Also check the text box's properties afterward, especially Can Grow if you are using it on a report. On a form, you may want to make the control taller or set Enter Key Behavior to New Line in Field if you want users to be able to type multiple lines.
