I have a large number of people who have multiple capacities in multiple years.  For example: Donor, Host, Driver, etc.  For a Donor, I need to keep up with the Year and the Amount of the donation for that year.  Similar problems with other groups.  What would be the best way to accomplish this?  Make groups such as "Donor 2015", "Donor 2014" etc?  Or is there a better way just to create a group "Donor" with something like sub-groups for each year attached to the amount?  If this is covered somewhere, please point me in that direction.  I can sometimes make the shift from order tracking to people management, but not always!!

I'd add another Field of Year and record that too, it would then give you the option to query on both criteria.
