Thank you for your response. Yes, the backend is on GoDaddy SQL server. I was able to export the tables but not able to edit records (Write conflict). I tried the resolution suggested on one of the articles you sent but it still does not work.Perhaps it is because SQL stopped supporting Access with the 2003 version (I have 2010). I am almost ready to give up..

SQL Server still supports later versions of Access. Where did you read otherwise? I have many dbs connected via Access to MSSQL without a problem, Are you connecting with a DSN?
