Hi Alex, thank you very much for answering my questions. Does the Customer ID field not get a Combo Box on the FamilyMemberF, because adding that info would actually confuse what the record was about - the family member or the customer? Thanks for clarifying this!

You are linking it with the Parent/Child keys since it's a subform so Access can handle the relationship, there is no need to have it on the Form and make the user see or know about it.
