okay, thanks but as a newbie let me start by saying not sure what you mean to many joins in a query? or, is that what I should be working with, Queries instead of a tables? at this point I do not have any calculations.

When you create a Query you can join many tables together, this is covered in the lesson. A Query is just a way of getting information from one or more Tables in your database.
