I am running access 2010, when I saved my first query (using my own data) I do not get separate section on the left hand side.. IE: your tables, queries. It is just a listing with the correct names but not separated by types. Not sure what happened.

What option is showing at the top of the Navigation Pane? There should be a drop down you can change to "ALL OBJECTS"
