Hi Anthony. Your Access database is an ACCDB file. The LACCDB file is the record locking file created by Access to keep track of who has what open in the database. This way if two people are using the database at the same time, you don't run into conflicts. It's created when the database is open and it SHOULD be deleted automatically when everyone closes the database. To see these file extensions, you have to turn them on in WINDOWS. I think everyone SHOULD get used to seeing them. Microsoft turns them OFF by default. In any Windows Explorer, click on the VIEW tab and then make sure File Name Extensions is checked.
