How do I Plan my Database like Tables and its Relations
For now, keep a list of every type of THING you need to track. In your case: machines, materials, components, vendors, etc. Once you get to Expert Level 1 and 2 and finish the lessons on relationships, you'll have a much better understanding of how these things will relate together. For now, start building your tables keeping in mind that each of these is going to have an ID field to link them to something else.
Products and Vendors, for example: each Product will have a VendorID to tell you who you buy that product from. That's a one to many relationship. Or, you may have a situation where you have multiple vendors that supply the same products. That gets into many to many relationships, which are a little tougher.
I see you've only finished Access Beginner 6. Keep learning. You'll get there soon. The Expert Series starts relationships.
