I've posted the first 4 lessons to Access Developer 27

So far this is all FREE bonus material. It does not count towards your hour of new material for this class. That's coming shortly.

We're going to be doing some more work in D27 with managing inventory. You do NOT need the barcoding lessons. If you don't want to use barcodes, then don't watch them. I'm including them here as a courtesy. However, if you have any desire whatsoever to scan or print barcodes for your databases, then there is some great material here. These are the TechHelp videos (free and Extended Cut) for both scanning and printing barcodes. Watch them if you like. The next lesson will be posted soon.

We're going to be doing more work with recordsets. We'll be managing individual units instead of just products. So you can print out barcodes for each unit (say you've got 10 photon torpedoes and you want to track a unique serial number for each one). We'll cover scanning those items in and out of inventory. We'll learn how to recognize what type of code was scanned (part number or serial number). We're going to "do inventory," meaning open a blank form where we scan in all of the products in the warehouse and compare that to what we should have in inventory. Lots more to come...
