As far as I'm aware, no. You have to have the Access container visible. You can make a single Modal form that's the size of the entire screen, but I don't recommend it.

You could turn the Navigation Pane off and play about with the ribbon settings.

You can hide everything and use tabbed instead of overlapping windows. This will provide the appearance of an application window. This is more of a whole database solution then an individual form. You'll also need to add buttons to every form to move around your database then. The only thing that will be visible when you open your database is your form, and an access titlebar.

You, gentlemen, are absolutely correct. If you want to completely hide the appearance that it's an Access application, however, the only way I've found to do it is to use a giant Modal form, which I think looks like crap, but it will hide the Access window.
