Save before backup vba

I got the backup vba code for the database on a click event (thank you for the video) but I would also like to save any edits before it does the backup in case I forgot to save ahead of time. How do I do this if I have multiple objects open and the button is on my main menu?

Do you want to loop through all the open forms, save/close them, and then run backup? If so, I think it's on Rick's list already for a tech help.

Yes, loop through all open objects and save. Can this be done without closing the objects? And then performing the backups.
Thanks

What is the full code for displaying the status in the list box below/ is it explained in another video?

Its in the extended cut around the 10minute mark.

I understand the code spoken about around the 10-minute mark but I'm still unsure how to actually get the list box to display that information. I get that in the beginning of the video Richard just altered the "hello world" button that population the list box with hello world. So I guess I'm wondering if there is a video that explains how that works and how the status variable is sent & then populated within the list box.

Sorry, maybe I don't really understand the question. All your doing is making a text box called status, and then saying status = X or whatever variable you dim. It's the same thing as saying Status = "Hello World" or anything else.

It's sent in the button click event by just saying Status = X
