I was re-watching Core 2 again today. You kept mentioning the annoying screen fragment when one of the screens loaded W/O data. Any way long story short in Lesson 4 - Groups at 46:18 that fragment is there. Then when you moved the labels out of the header to above the subform at 47:25 it's gone.
I haven't investigated any further but now I'm thinking, "So, is the fragment in header, OR the label, OR is it in the Record Selector place holder?"
FYI - the fragment doesn't bother me - I don't think the average user will notice. I just like to know the "Why" sometimes.
I watched the video to see what you mean. I think it's the record selector. Just an annoying fragment. Access isn't drawing something right. Not sure if there's a fix for it, except to do what I did - move the labels away.
